DEFENDING YOUR PET'S HEALTH

DEFENDING YOUR PET'S HEALTHDEFENDING YOUR PET'S HEALTH

we help you travel easily with your pet!

Do you need to travel with your pet? Are you moving or PCSing?

****Please visit the CDC website for information about return to the United States certificate needs. Traveling with your pet requires planning and research to ensure you have everything necessary when you arrive to your destination.

In order for a health certificate to be issued, your pet must be:

  • Deemed healthy enough to travel
  • Up to date on vaccinations required by the destination
  • Free from disease
  • Free from internal and external parasites

***Please note that certain destinations may have more requirements than those listed above. Visiting the USDA APHIS website will provide you with all requirements for the destination country or state. Also be sure to check with your airline for any additional required paperwork.

**Please note that original, signed rabies certificates are required for most travel destinations.

**Many destinations also require a microchip implanted BEFORE the rabies vaccine was administered.

**Please visit the CDC website for information about return to the United States.

Please give us a call for more information and to help guide the appropriate timing of your appointment. Our USDA-accredited veterinarians are happy to help you plan your travels.
